She and her husband have traveled extensively all over the world. Her love of travel stems from having taught geography in Jr.High. She taught for the Papillian/ LaVista Schools, the Unadilla Schools and subbed for the Syracuse Schools. Illness took her away from teaching.

She now does volunteer tutoring and mentoring at Syracuse High School giving her time for her love of writing.
